Year 4 Maths - Make Change

This week, pupils had the chance to visit the ‘Class 9 Shop’. Here, they were able to buy a range of items by paying with either a £10, £20 or £50 note. It was then up to our shop keepers to give them the correct change. We were then given a list of items and worked with a partner to calculate the correct change that would be given for each of the items in the list to the left. We discussed different strategies for working this out and shared these with the class.
