Year 1 Maths - Pirate Problem Solving

Today we became problem-solving pirates. We were visited by Captain Blue Coat who gave us a Maths challenge. We had to find clues around the classroom and make the number out of dienes. We found this tricky and had to read the clue carefully. Working in pairs, we made the numbers and, if we were correct, we collected money in our bags. We had so much fun being pirate problem-solvers!
